Get Closer Week

Aimed at adults, our Get Closer Week is all about the detail. It is a fantastic opportunity for you to discover some fascinating facts about some of our vehicles. There is no extra charge, just normal Museum entry applies.

This will be a week when we will encourage our visitors to enjoy our collection by being able to see parts of the collection up close. We will have a selection of vehicles which will have the bonnets open, hoods down and doors open, giving visitors the chance to get up closer. Volunteers will be on hand to guide you around the Museum and stop at selected cars to answer questions from technical data on the engine and how it works to questions about how many were made and where it was made.

With many of these cars there will be the chance to sit in and experience what it is like to own one of these cars. From vintage and veteran to supercars, there will be a chance to get up close with many museum exhibits which are usually behind ropes and untouchable by visitors.

Get Closer Tours will take place at 11:00am and 3:00pm each day. Please sign up for the tour at reception on arrival to the Museum.
