Welcome to Windrush Farm

Windrush Farm is a Georgian farmhouse situated in the small hamlet of Stowell, just 4 miles from Sherborne.  It is in a very peaceful setting with a charming walled garden and private parking.

Windrush Farm is an example of an 18th Century yeoman farmer’s house.  The property has great character and charm and is furnished with many interesting and unusual objects and has the feeling of a home rather than a guesthouse.  

There is a large farmhouse kitchen where a good traditional English breakfast is served.  The kitchen has French doors leading to a terrace onto the garden.  We have a cosy sitting room available to guests where, in the cooler weather, we shall light a fire and there is a television and DVD player for their use.

There is a double bedroom with separate bathroom and one twin sharing bathroom (2nd room let to same party only).  The rooms are furnished with pretty chintzs and matching bedheads and valences.

Our prices are from £75 per room per night and from £45 per room for single occupancy.  The price includes a full English breakfast with homemade marmalade and as much locally produced ingredients as possible.

Dinner is available by arrangement for £20 per person.  There are otherwise numerous good pubs and restaurants within easy driving distance which we can recommend.

The house is dog friendly but you need to book by prior arrangement.
